Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill honored by Sporting News

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins received special recognition on Thursday.

Both quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill were recognized by the Sports News for their season.

Tagovailoa was named Comeback Player of the Year.

The award was voted on by his peers.

Tagovailoa battled concussions in the 2022 season.

He was unable to finish the year because of injury.

In 2023, Tagovailoa had a spectacular offensive year.

Tagovailoa finished with 4,624 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 143 interceptions.

The quarterback completed 69.3% of his passes and had a QB rating of 101.1

Tyreek Hill was named the Offensive Player of the Year.

Hill was the most dominant receiver in football.

Hill finished the year with 119 catches for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The Dolphins were able to earn a playoff spot for the second straight season.

However, they were knocked out of the Wild Card round by the Kansas City Chiefs.
