Heat President Pat RIley made the announcement as the Heat honored Wade for his 2023 Hall of Fame induction.

Wade became a first ballot, unanimous Hall of Famer in August.

Wade won three championships with the Heat and is considered one of the greatest guards in the history of basketball.

As for the statue, it will debut in Fall 2024.

It was commissioned by Sculptors of Fine Art Studio Rotblatt Amrany.

Amrany’s works include “Michael Jordan Spirit” in Chicago, as well as statues of Shaquille O’Neal, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
