MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins held their end of season news conference, earlier than they wanted.
The Dolphins were knocked out in the Wild Card Round by the Kansas City Chiefs.

The primary question for the team is the future of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
General Manager Chris Grier said that he wanted to keep Tagovailoa for a long time.
Grier said, “We’ve stayed in touch with his agent, had good conversations throughout the year. Never talked about money or anything just good conversations where he is.. the goal is to have him here long-term playing at a high level.”
Grier said he would continue talking to Tua’s agent.
The General Manager was asked if he would be willing to pay Tagovailoa in the range of $50-million per season.
His answer was interrupted by head coach Mike McDaniel who joked asking the reporter if he’s Tua’s agent.
Another possible change, McDaniel was asked if he’d be willing to relinquish the play-calling duties.
He said that nothing is off the table right now.
However, the head coach wants to take time to give an evaluation of the season.
