It looks like the Miami Dolphins will have their “Cheetah” back just in time for Sunday’s Christmas Eve showdown vs. the Dallas Cowboys but remain banged up on their offensive line.
Dolphins Head Coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Friday that he “feels good” about Hill playing after the star wide receiver returned to practice Thursday and will hit the field again on Friday.

He also cautioned that Hill must get through Friday’s practice without a setback after sustaining an ankle injury in Week 14′s loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football.
The All-Pro receiver leads the NFL with 1,542 yards and 12 touchdowns and entered Week 15 on pace for the first 2,000-yard receiving season in league history.
Jackson, Howard, Achane to play?
McDaniel said right tackle Austin Jackson, who missed Wednesday and Thursday practices with an oblique injury, shouldn’t be ruled out at this point because he will practice on a limited basis Friday. OG Robert Hunt was ruled out Friday due to a Hamstring injury.
Jackson’s return will be key for a Dolphins team that will be tasked to block All-Pro DE/LB Micah Parsons and former Pro Bowler DeMarcus Lawrence.
McDaniel said he expects running back De’Von Achane to play Sunday after dealing with a toe injury. Although starting running back Raheem Mostert didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday, he’s also expected to play on Sunday.
Cornerback Xavien Howard, who missed the Jets game with a hip injury, said he’s good to go for Sunday. But he needs the go-ahead from trainers before taking the field.
The Dolphins are 10-4, leading the AFC East by two games, and will look to clinch a playoff berth on Sunday’s Christmas Eve showdown against the (10-4) Dallas Cowboys at Hard Rock Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m.
