FIFA World Cup’s quarterfinals to move forward Friday with 8 best teams

MIAMI – The search for the best soccer team in the 22nd FIFA World Cup in Qatar began on Nov. 20 and only has seven more games left from Friday to Dec. 18.

After two games on Tuesday, the qualifying teams for the quarterfinals are Brazil, Argentina, England, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, Morocco, and Portugal.

The four definitive quarterfinal games are at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m., on Friday and Saturday. The Friday morning game will be between Croatia and Brazil. The Netherlands will play against Argentina on Friday afternoon. Portugal will play against Morocco on Saturday morning and England will play against France on Saturday afternoon.

The two semi-final games are at 2 p.m., on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14. The winners of the two Friday games will play on Dec. 13, and the winners of the two Saturday games will play on Dec. 14. The historic final is at 10 a.m., on Dec. 18.
