MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins made a plethora of roster moves on Monday as the team works to trim its number of players down to 53.
Four players were released, six were waived, two were waived/injured and one was placed on injured reserve.

Former Patriots and Rams running back Sony Michel was among those released, as were wide receiver Mohamed Sanu Sr, offensive lineman Adam Pankey and defensive back Quincy Wilson.
Michel was part of a crowded Miami backfield that includes newcomers Raheem Mostert and Chase Edmonds as well as returning halfbacks Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed.
The Dolphins also announced the team waived offensive lineman Blaise Andries, defensive lineman Owen Carney Jr., running back Gerrid Doaks, cornerback Elijah Hamilton, defensive tackle Niles Scott and running back ZaQuandre White.
Linebacker Darius Hodge and defensive bask D’Angelo Ross were designated waived/injured.
Additionally, linebacker Calvin Munson was placed on IR.
Miami will need to make another 16 moves by Tuesday at 4 p.m. to get down to a 53-man roster.
