Perry spent some time as the Miami’s starting QB during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, rotating with Malik Rosier in 2018 and Jarren Williams in 2019. He was a backup in 2020 and nearly led the ‘Canes to a comeback victory over Oklahoma State in the Cheez-It Bowl after D’Eriq King suffered a knee injury.
Perry now heads to Boca Raton and an FAU team led by former Florida State coach Willie Taggart.
Perry led Miami to a comeback win over Taggart’s Seminoles in 2018.
