FIU postpones football game because of COVID-19 cases

MIAMI – FIU has announced that they have postponed Saturday’s scheduled game at Charlotte because of a rise in COVID-19 cases.

The school released the following statement on their website:

“FIU’s game scheduled for this Saturday, Oct. 17 at Charlotte has been postponed due to an increase in COVID-19 positive results within the FIU football program. Out of an abundance of caution, all team activities have been paused.”
