ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves issued an apology Thursday after they played the song "Rock You Like A Hurricane" in between innings of their game against the Marlins.

Normally, it would be no big deal to play the popular song by the Scorpions, but considering there's a Category 5 hurricane heading straight for Florida, many fans felt it wasn't the best time for the song.

Hurricane Irma has already unleashed its devastating effects on Barbuda and the Virgin Islands, and it's expected to hit Florida sometime this weekend. It's expected to be one of the strongest, if not the strongest, hurricanes to hit Florida in recorded history.

The Braves said "Rock You Like A Hurricane" is part of their regular playlist, but admitted the song should have been pulled for the series against the Marlins.

It seems pretty obvious the Braves didn't do this maliciously, but since Miami figures to be one of the cities hit hardest by the storm, it was the wrong song to play against the wrong team at the wrong time.
