Heat players want to 'blow your mind' this season

Team releases 2016-17 player introduction video

MIAMI – The Miami Heat want to "blow your mind" this season.

That's the lyric often repeated by Heat players in their 2016-17 player introduction video released Thursday.

The video features Heat players juxtaposed against the backdrops of several familiar Miami-area locales.

Set to the music of Ohana Bam's "Blow Your Mind," the video showcases Miami neighborhoods Little Haiti, Little Havana and Wynwood, as well as the iconic Freedom Tower.

Heat spokeswoman Cassandra Sigler called the video "our love letter to the Magic City."

The video will be shown during Heat games at the American Airlines Arena. The Heat (1-0) open their home schedule Friday night against the Charlotte Hornets.

"Through all the championships and hall-of-famers, the international acclaim and national attention, our identity has forever been woven in our community," Sigler said. "We are Miami. Plain and simple."
