MIAMI – Heat guard Gerald Green is out of the hospital.
Local 10 News has learned that Green has been discharged from Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The Miami Heat did not issue an official statement other than wishing him well.
Miami paramedics were called to Green's condominium building at the Marquis after a 911 caller said the 29-year-old was unconscious in front of the valet area.
Police detectives said they were called to help first responders with Green, who was described as a combative patient when he regained consciousness.
The shooting guard did not play in Thursday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks. There has been no word from the team at this point on when he will play next.
Green's Heat family offered words of support this week.
"Whenever a teammate is sick or there's an illness, we all reach out," Dwyane Wade said.
"We always say we're a family first organization and we prove that by making sure our guys are OK," Chris Bosh said.
The Heat play at home Sunday night against Toronto.
