The contract will be $6.5 million in 2015, $9 million in 2016 and $14.5 million in 2017.
Stanton can opt out of his deal in the sixth year of the contract.
If Stanton stays, the Marlins would over him $218 million over the final seven years of his contract.
That would average out to $31.14 a season.
The Marlins have confirmed that the deal will be made official at an 11 a.m. news conference on Wednesday.
