MIAMI ā€“ South Florida will be well represented in the Florida state championship games next weekend.

Miramar beat Columbus 14-6 to advance to the class 8-a finals.Ā  Miami Central and Norland were also winners in state semifinal games.

Miramar ran its record to 13-0 with the victory and can cap a perfect season when it faces Tampa Plant.

Quarterback Cam Hudge led the Patriots to a pair of second half touchdowns in their victory over Columbus.

Norland beat Palmetto 35-27 as their defense stopped the Tigers in the final seconds of their 5-a state semifinal.Ā  Norland will play Wakulla in the state championship game.

Miami Central's Joe Yearby rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns to lead the defending state champs back to the title game with a 17-7 win over Daytona Beach Mainland.
