ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld Orlando unveiled the custom-built lead car for its new Mako roller coaster Tuesday, which promises to be the fastest, tallest and longest rollercoaster in Orlando.
The roller coaster, which opens this summer, was inspired by the Mako shark, one of the ocean's fastest shark species.

Park officials said the Mako roller coaster will top 200 feet and reach speeds of 73 mph on a track that is nearly a mile long.
According to park officials, the Mako is a hypercoaster, which means it is all about "speed, tight turns and that weightless feeling riders get at the top of each hill."
Each seat in the roller coaster's cars is equipped with just a lap guard, so riders will have added "mobility and airtime" as their upper bodies are free, officials said.
The roller coaster will have 21 cars, including three trains and seven cars per train.
According to SeaWorld's website, Mako will be the centerpiece of a newly themed area of the park that will be fully about sharks.
