WASHINGTON – Sen. Marco Rubio continues to hold a lead over Rep. Val Demings, according to a Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy poll released on Tuesday.
With 47%, Rubio is ahead six points over Demings at 41%, according to the poll done in September before Hurricane Ian hit western Florida.
As far as women, Demings was ahead three points with 44% over Rubio at 41%, according to the poll of about 800 potential Florida voters.
Rubio leads Demings with seniors by 15 points and with independents by five points. They were both at 45% with Hispanic voters.
