Demontae Heath charged with first-degree murder in death of 19-year-old man.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in the February killing of a 19-year-old man who was found dead outside his Pompano Beach home.

Demontae Heath, 21, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Michael Lubitus.

According to deputies, Lubitus's body was found on the swale outside his home at Southwest Eighth Avenue and Sixth Court just after midnight on Feb. 26.

His cellphone and a small amount of marijuana were found on the ground next to him.

Deputies said Lubitus and Heath had an ongoing feud and believe the killing may have been the result of a botched drug-related robbery.
