BJ’s Wholesale Club will be raising its fees in 2025 for the first time in seven years.
The national chain announced the price increase on Thursday. The membership rates will rise from $10 to $20, depending on the tier and will go into effect Jan. 1, 2025.

Its competitor, Costco Wholesale Club, also raised its rates in September of this year.
According to the wholesaler’s website, Costco raised the price from the basic Gold Star membership from $60 to $65 annually, while the cost for the premium Executive membership will rise from $120 to $130.
BJ’s has about 215 locations nationwide with at least nine of them across South Florida in Miami-Dade and Broward County.
