Southwest Airlines is offering a promotion that would allow a passholder and a companion to fly nearly free for flights booked in early 2025.
The promotion is available for Rapid Rewards program members through Sept. 5. To qualify for the Companion Pass, the rewards member must book one qualifying round trip or two one-way tickets by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sept. 5 for travel from now through Nov. 20, 2024.

The pass can be redeemed between Jan. 6, 2025, and March 6, 2025.
The cost of taxes and fees for the companion flights during the promotional period start at $5.60 per way.
