Prior to Oklahoma City, Seiden worked as a reporter at ABC affiliate KBMT in Beaumont, Texas. One of his favorite stories in southeast Texas was about a police department that didn't have enough money to buy its officers bulletproof vests. His reports caught the attention of a resident who opened up his wallet and bought every officer a vest.
Michael graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. As a student, he anchored the historic 2008 presidential election. He also interned for the Arizona Cardinals, working three seasons, including their 2008 run to the Super Bowl.
