The incidents happened Tuesday and Wednesday at T&T Nails, Linda Lee's Hairport, Tiffany's Styling Salon and Tina Nails and Spa.

All of the victims told detectives that the fake bills were passed by an older Hispanic man, possibly in his 60s, with graying or salt-and-pepper hair and a heavy Spanish accent.

Herrin said each counterfeit bill was identical and bore the same serial number of LE66130232B.

Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-346-TIPS.Ā
