Homestead police searching for missing endangered elderly woman

HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Authorities in Homestead are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing endangered woman.

According to the Homestead Police Department, 74-year-old Marie Rose Guerrier was reported missing from the area of 174 NE 13th Circle.

She was last seen leaving the are on foot around 5 p.m. Monday, police said.

Guerrier suffers from Alzheimer’s, diabetes and has high blood pressure, authorities said.

She is described as approximately 5-foot-2, weighing around 130 pounds with a medium build and brown eyes, and police said she was last seen wearing a black and brown wig, a black sweater with a red and gold patterned shirt, black pants and gold sandals.

Anyone who thinks they have seen her or who has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Homestead police at 305-247-1535 or anonymous tips can be made by calling Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TiPS.
