MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies are investigating a shooting at a gas station in northwest Miami-Dade County.

Investigators say an argument between two men escalated to gunfire at the Mobil gas station located at 10300 NW 12th Ave. Wednesday around 5:25 p.m.

One of the men was struck and drove himself to North Shore Hospital before he was later taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, authorities said.

Authorities said they are searching for the person who shot the victim.

Additionally, detectives are examining surveillance footage and investigating the circumstances that led up to the gunfire.

No other injuries were reported.
