HOMESTEAD, Fla. — A 16-year-old boy who was reported missing from Homestead returned home Friday after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert for him, Homestead police confirmed.

According to police, prior to being found, Deniro Venero was last seen Thursday in the 1200 block of Southeast 29^th Street in Homestead.

Detectives believe Deniro might have traveled to the Sweetwater area, but police did not immediately confirm where he had been during the time he was believed to be missing.
