FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured Wednesday night.
Officers responded around 9 p.m. to the 2500 block of Northwest 21st Street after receiving reports of a possible shooting. When they arrived, they found two adults suffering from gunshot wounds.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue transported both victims to Broward Health Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
One of the victims died from their injuries. Police identified him as 19-year-old Lamardric Anntwan Davis.
The second victim remains at the hospital in critical condition.
The investigation remains active.
