FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā There was no shortage of spectacle in the sky as the Air Dot Show Fort Lauderdale took flight over the weekend.
āItās, you just sit there with your mouth agape and you find it hard to believe that they are able to do those kinds of performances in the sky,ā air show spokesperson Chris Dirato said.

Crowds packed in along Fort Lauderdale Beach to watch the sky-high event with eight different performances.
āMost excited about the Blue Angels, but Iād like to see the F-22 as well. Itād be exciting,ā attendee Tony Heffernan said.
This year marked a grand return for the U.S. Navyās Blue Angels, their last appearance in the show was back in 2023.
āItās gonna be totally worth it,ā Heffernan added. āI like to see how these pilots are the best pilots in the world.ā
Those skills were certainly on display for thousands, featuring loops, inversions, and much more.
āWe have a little bit of everything for everybody,ā Dirato said.
Sundayās show began at noon, with opening ceremonies kicking off 15 minutes prior.
The headline performance of the Blue Angels took to the skies at 2 p.m.
Free beach viewing areas were available south of Sunrise Boulevard and north of the Grand Pelican Hotel.
It was a wet and rainy end to the final day of the air show, but it still provided a great time for thousands who took to the sand with their eyes on the skies.
