SURFSIDE, Fla. – The Surfside post office branch will close temporarily next month, as the U.S. Postal Service looks for a new location.
According to a media release, the Florida 3 District of the U.S. Postal Service announced the temporary suspension of postal operations at the Surfside Branch at 250 95th Street, Surfside, FL 33154 on Wednesday, due to the non-renewal of the location’s lease agreement.

Currently, the U.S. Postal Service is seeking a new location for the Surfside Branch and appreciates its customers’ patience during this process.
Customers may obtain service at an alternate site at the Normandy Station at 525 71st Street in Miami Beach, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. after the current office closes on Saturday, May 3.
According to the postal service, delivery service in Surfside is not affected by the expiring lease and will continue uninterrupted.
