PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Baptist Health is building a new medical center in Pembroke Pines and it broke ground on the facility Wednesday.
The nearly 61,000-square-foot, three-story facility will offer inpatient and outpatient care.
It will feature a freestanding emergency department and will bring together specialties from brain and spine care, heart and vascular care and primary care, all in one location.
“We’ve been part of here in Broward County for many years and really now it’s bringing our specialties our medical specialties and that access to care that’s so important with a freestanding emergency department and really having that coordination of care that you can have all of these services under one roof and really bringing convenience to the patient,” Baptist Outpatient Services CEO Nancy Batista-Rodriguez said.
The new facility is set to open in early 2027.
