MARATHON, Fla. – Deputies in the Florida Keys are investigating after a senior’s body was found floating near a boat slip Friday.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the body of Tony Vascolani, 84, of Lansing, Michigan, was found in the waters off Sombrero Boulevard.
Deputies were called out just before 1:30 p.m.
“Foul play does not appear to be a factor in the death,” Linhardt said.
Authorities said autopsy results are pending.
