NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Deputies in Broward County are investigating a fatal shooting.
It happened early Monday evening along the 900 block of Southwest 81st Avenue in North Lauderdale.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting and found two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
North Lauderdale Fire Rescue pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Crews rushed a second victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Deputies said they are actively investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
They have not yet said whether they are seeking any suspects or persons of interest.
