Police: Florida 13-year-old boy records his 14-year-old killer

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 13-year-old boy in Florida’s Tampa Bay area used his phone to record the 14-year-old who killed him, police reported Monday.

Markus Carr, 14, told police officers Jaden Hill, 13, was the victim of a drive-by shooting in St. Petersburg, but the video Jaden recorded showed his friend Markus was the shooter, according to police.

Detectives reported Markus shot Jaden shortly after 11 p.m., on Saturday while the two were sitting in a car at 2421 11th St. S., according to the St. Peterburg Police Department.

Jaden died at the hospital and detectives arrested Markus who faced a murder charge on Monday.
