It happened back on Feb. 28 just past noon along the 1800 block of Johnson Street in Hollywood.

Police said the victim, identified as Fredrick Turbe, drove himself to Memorial Regional Hospital where he was immediately rushed into surgery.

Turbe was shot in the upper abdomen and each of his arms, police said.

The suspect, identified by officers as 69-year-old Edwin Yeye, could not be located on the day of the shooting.

Investigators said the incident stemmed from some kind of disagreement between neighbors.

Details of the investigation, including how officers were able to identify Yeye as their suspect, were redacted from the arrest report.

He has since been charged with attempted first-degree murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling and is being held on no bond.
