CORAL GABLES, Fla. – A 22-year-old man was arrested last week after he exposed his penis to a woman and her 3-year-old daughter while they were walking in Coral Gables, authorities said.

According to an arrest report, the incident occurred Friday night in the 700 block of Valencia Avenue.
Coral Gables police said the victim told officers that she was walking on the sidewalk with her daughter when the suspect, Caleb James Carter, of Miami, got within arm’s reach of her and then moved his pants to the side, exposing his penis to her while making eye contact with her.
According to the report, the victim ran away with her daughter as Carter, who was accompanied by a dog, followed behind.
Police said the victim yelled out to a passerby at Valenica Avenue and Le Jeune Road that the man who was following her had just exposed himself to her.
Police said the victim the continued running with her daughter until they reached her husband in the 200 block of Miracle Mile.
According to the report, the passerby notified police and the victim provided a description of the suspect to officers.
Police said the victim pointed out Carter to an officer and he was detained.
According to the report, Carter claimed that he was walking his dog in the 700 block of Miracle Mile when the dog tried to jump into a fountain. He said as he was pulling his dog back, he pulled up his pants that had fallen down, authorities said.

According to the report, Carter, who is currently homeless, was arrested on charges of aggravated stalking, lewd and lascivious exhibition on a child under 16 and indecent exposure.
As of Monday afternoon, Carter remained at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $21,000 bond.
