NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – An investigation is ongoing after a little boy was found unresponsive in a pool in North Lauderdale.
The home is on Stardust Drive, where a party was held Saturday night.
Just after midnight, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said they received a call about a possible drowning in the pool out back.
The first deputies on scene immediately began CPR, trying to save the child. The 8-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The BSO Homicide and Crime Unit was called to the scene, along with the Department of Children and Families to investigate.
