Miami-Dade detectives reported India Comer was with two others when the trio fired at the 17-year-old boy and his 15-year-old cousin while they were walking along Southwest 262 Lane.
According to an arrest report in the case, detectives cited the evidence against her to include surveillance video, weapons, cell phones, and spent bullet casings.
Surveillance video recorded someone shouting before the shooting at about 7:05 p.m., on Nov. 30, 2024, at Southwest 262 Lane, near 138 Court.
“That’s Big B! Let’s Glock ... him!”
Donald Moss told Local 10 News his 17-year-old son Christian, who detectives believe is known as “Big B,” and the other teen with him ran home after the shooting.
“He didn’t even know he was hit he just felt that his arm was heavy,” Moss said. “When he got home, he saw blood dripping so he knew, ‘It’s me!’ I took his jacket off. I got a towel over the wound.”
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel took the teen to Jackson South Medical Center where he survived his wounds.
According to Miami-Dade deputies, Shot Spotter technology recorded 15 shots fired and investigators recovered 10 spent 9 mm bullet casings in the area.
During the investigation, deputies raided a townhome at Southwest 138 Court, near 264 Street, and seized two firearms and ammunition in December, according to a deputy’s report.
Records show deputies arrested Cordarrius Lee at the townhome and correctional deputies booked him on Dec. 12 at the jail before he turned 21 in March at the Metrowest Detention Center.
According to the arrest report, surveillance video shows Comer, Lee, and a third suspect firing weapons during the shooting and going back inside the townhome.
Records show deputies re-arrested Comer and Lee on Jan. 31 after a detective received a report from The National Integrated Ballistic Information Network, or NIBIN, database.
Records show correctional deputies booked Comer on Tuesday afternoon at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center after her case was transferred out of juvenile court.
Miami-Dade prosecutors filed cases in adult court against Lee on Feb. 1., and against Comer on Monday. They both faced charges of first-degree attempted murder with a weapon, aggravated assault with a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The court set Comer’s arraignment for 9 a.m., on April 7. Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Christine Hernandez was presiding over both cases.
Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
