ATF Miami: K-9 Babs was the real winner at Homestead–Miami Speedway

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives praised K-9 Babs, a labrador retriever, as the real winner at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

A spokesperson for ATF Miami reported Monday morning on X that Babs was “diligently working and keeping race fans safe this weekend” at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

ATF Special Agent Zane Dodds worked with 8-year-old Babs to detect guns, ammunition, and explosives, as the speedway hosted tens of thousands of people during the Straight Talk Wireless 400, the sixth race of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Kyle Larson, driving the No. 5 Chevrolet, was the race’s winner on Sunday after passing Alex Bowman, his Hendrick Motorsports teammate.
