Miami police arrested Carlos Brito, 63, on charges of kidnapping and unlawful sexual activity with a minor on Wednesday.

According to an arrest report, the teen was waiting for a bus outside of an unnamed Metrorail station at around 9 p.m. Tuesday when a stranger, later identified as Brito, pulled up in a silver SUV and offered him a ride, which he accepted. Surveillance video showed the pickup, police said.

The teen told investigators that Brito locked the doors and then showed the victim a pornographic video on his cellphone, asking him if he “was comfortable with that,” the report states.

Police said the teen told Brito “no.”

“The victim was fearful about being locked inside the vehicle but remained silent because he did not know if (Brito) was armed,” police wrote.

Investigators said the two arrived at Brito’s home in the 2900 block of Southwest 27th Terrace and Brito took the victim to his bedroom.

There, the teen was “instructed to undress” and “instructed to perform oral sex” on Brito, police said. Brito would later perform the same act on the boy and kiss him on the lips, the report states.

Authorities said Brito and the boy left the house and Brito drove the teen somewhere near his home. Police said the boy was able to get Brito’s address number and a partial license plate number off of his vehicle.

The report states that detectives interviewed Brito Wednesday morning. Police said he first told them he went to the bus station at around 7 p.m. to pick up a friend, then drove to Home Depot and then went straight home where he went to sleep after dropping off his friend.

Brito “was confronted with the CCTV retrieved from the transit bus and he recalled going back to the bus station, picking up a young man and driving him straight home,” police said, and “was presented with a photograph of the victim and he confirmed (redacted).”

“He then retracted his statement and said he stopped by his home to pick up his glasses but the male stayed in the vehicle,” the report states. “(Brito) then changed his statement and said the male did enter his home to drink water but he stayed in the living room the whole time. He then retracted that statement and said the (redacted) but denied the victim performing oral sex on him. (Brito) then stated he spontaneously (redacted).”

As of Thursday, Brito was being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, jail records show.
