LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a man accused of battery following an altercation at a Lauderdale Lakes residence Thursday morning.
Investigators said BSO deputies responded to a home near the 4000 block of Northwest 30th Terrace after receiving reports of a battery just before 9:20 a.m.
They said the man arrived at the residence to drop off his daughter when an altercation broke out with a woman inside.
The man then allegedly battered a second woman before leaving the scene with his daughter in a vehicle, according to detectives.
Authorities said Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue transported the woman to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A be-on the-lookout notice was issued as detectives with BSO’s Lauderdale Lakes District continue their investigation.
