Sources tell Local 10 that the restaurant’s original location will be taken over by a fourth generation of Wan’s. Christina Wan’s nephew Alex Kuk and Christina Wan’s daughter are expected to reopen the restaurant later this year.

The restaurant located at 664 North Federal Highway, announced its closure on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, after 28 years of serving South Florida.

It was voted Best Chinese Food in Fort Lauderdale by Best of Fort Lauderdale in 2021.

According to the restaurant’s website, the Wan family also had a location in Fort Lauderdale at 1201 North Federal Highway from 1986 to 1993. Before that, the family served guests at a Miami location off of Southwest 8th Street, beginning in 1966.
