MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair is back for the 73rd year.
“It’s very nostalgic because my grandmother used to bring me here as a child and we made it a tradition,” said attendee Mercedes Osceola. “We come every first day.”
There was no shortage of crowds or excitement on Thursday as the fair officially opened to the public, featuring more than 85 rides.
“It’s good family time, good bonding time,” said Vanessa Washington. “Get out and experience new things.”
There are also countless food options, including some very South Florida-themed selections.
Over the next 21 days, the thrills and delights will be lighting up the night sky in west Miami-Dade County.
