MIAMI – A Miami police raid at a food store in the Liberty City neighborhood Wednesday led SWAT team members to a stash of drugs and four arrests, according to a news release.
A Miami Police Department spokesperson said undercover officers had been conducting drug buys at the Friendly Grocery & Food Market at 6101 NW 17th Ave. in the preceding weeks.

Police said during the raid, they found fentanyl, cocaine and marijuana, along with hundreds of antibiotic pills and even Viagra.
“Detectives also recovered (six) gambling machines from a locked room in the rear of the building,” police said.
MPD officers arrested four people at the scene who either had active warrants, drugs, or both.
They identified those arrested as Faheem Chappell, 42, and Rodney Wilson, 65, both of Liberty City; Jeaneviah Way, 31, of Overtown; and Anthony Cruz Quiles, 38, who is homeless.
Aside from the arrests, drugs and gambling machines, police said they recovered nearly $2,500 in cash.
