DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A manager at Shenanigans Sports Pub in Dania Beach was up to no good when he pulled a gun on a contractor who asked him to pay for services he performed at the establishment, deputies said.

According to a Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest report, the victim was “working with equipment at the business,” located at 1300 S. Federal Highway, and went to the office of manager Anthony Partridge “to reclaim the other half of the money owed to him for the services provided” and “explained that the owner advised that Partridge should pay him for the services.”
Deputies said after a “small argument,” Partridge, 63, of Hollywood, pulled out a silver handgun from his waistband and “point(ed) it directly at (the victim’s) face.”
“Partridge then pulled the slide to the rear,” BSO Deputy Joseph Mora wrote. “The act placed (the victim) in a well-founded fear and was committed as an intentional act of violence to threaten (him) coupled with the apparent ability to do so.”
Authorities said the contractor pointed at Partridge after he walked out of the business. Deputies detained and later arrested him on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; they said he declined to speak with them.
Court records show a judge found probable cause to charge Partridge, gave him a $10,000 bond and ordered that he be on GPS-monitored house arrest and have no contact with the victim.
He no longer appeared in BSO jail records as of Thursday evening.
