Silver Alert issued for 91-year-old man last seen in Plantation

PLANTATION, Fla. – A Silver Alert was issued on Wednesday for a missing 91-year-old man who police say was last seen in Plantation.

Authorities said Donald Dent was last seen around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 6500 block of Southwest 20th Street.

Dent may be cognitively impaired and is considered endangered, according to investigators.

They said he was last seen driving a light blue 2013 Honda CR-V with Florida tag Z63-CEW. His possible destination may be Miami or Doral.

Police described Dent as a 5-foot-9, 155-pound man with green eyes and short gray hair.

Detectives said he was last seen wearing a light-colored short-sleeve shirt, black checkered pants and slip-on shoes.
