Deputies reported finding Scotsman and another man wounded after a shooting at about 12:20 a.m., outside a coral pink house along Northwest 35 Court, near 34 Terrace.

“An argument occurred between several individuals that escalated into the shooting,” a BSO spokesperson wrote in a statement. “The investigation is ongoing.”

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel took the men to a nearby hospital where Scotsman later died. The other man was getting treated for non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

Hours after the shooting, deputies were collecting evidence from cars parked outside of the house. A tow truck removed a white car before sunrise.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.

This is a developing story.
