Deputies said Deshawn Tyres Allen, of Boca Raton, was taken into custody Monday by BSO detectives after he shot and killed Chaddric Loray.
Authorities received reports of a possible shooting just before 4:45 a.m. Monday near the 700 block of Northwest Ninth Avenue.
Deputies arrived to find Loray suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by deputies to save him, Loray was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to investigators.
Investigators say Allen and Loray had argued earlier in the evening, and Allen followed Loray to two separate locations before opening fire.
As of Tuesday, Allen was being held without bond at the Broward Main Jail.
