Jay-Z sues woman who dropped lawsuit after accusing him of rape

MIAMI – Attorneys representing Jay-Z filed a federal defamation lawsuit in Alabama claiming that a woman who had accused him of rape “voluntarily admitted” she was pressured into lying.

Jay-Z, who is married to Beyoncé, claims the false accusations cost him about $20 million in contracts and took an emotional tool on his family.

Last month, the anonymous woman withdrew a lawsuit that her attorney filed last year accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z, also known as Shaw Carter, of raping her at 13.

Combs pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
