Police investigate after victim shot following argument with neighbor in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting that they said left a person wounded following an argument he or she had with a neighbor on Friday afternoon.

It happened just before 12:45 p.m. near the 1800 block of Johnson Street.

Hollywood police said officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital by a private vehicle for treatment, according to investigators.

Sky 10 flew over the scene, where two Hollywood police cars were parked outside a home in the area.

Authorities have not released details about the victim’s age, gender, or identity, nor any information about a potential suspect or suspects at this time.

No other details about the shooting were immediately released.
