Broward deputies arrest fugitive accused of killing father of 4 in 2021

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – In 2021, the Miramar Police Department warned the public that a murder suspect who was on the run was “armed and dangerous.”

Detectives searched for Ian Graham after he Carlton Rock was shot in the head shortly before 11:05 p.m., on June 12, 2021.

The shooting was outside of the Quick Stop, at 2701 SW 64 Ave., in Miramar, police said. Detectives released surveillance video they said showed Graham in the store.

According to an arrest warrant in the case, Rock died about five days after the shooting at Memorial Regional Hospital. He was a 43-year-old father of four.

More than three years later, Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Graham, 61, on Monday.

Inmate records show correctional deputies held Graham at the main jail in Fort Lauderdale after a judge denied him bond Tuesday. He also had a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.

Inmate records show Graham faced two counts of first-degree murder.
