MIAMI ā Video footage captured a man looking through a Miami apartment window, and now the search is on for the Peeping Tom.
Just one glance at the surveillance video was all it took for Sofia Galianoās nerves to be rattled.
āThey donāt belong on the property, they definitely donāt belong in my backyard and they shouldnāt be looking into my window,ā she said. āItās an invasion of privacy.ā
Miami police is on the case, actively investigating the unidentified prowler at the four-unit apartment building at Northwest 74th Street and First Court.
The strange man has been spotted prowling on the property at least three times in recent weeks.
The last time was Sunday, when he bypassed a number of No Trespassing signs and series of cameras to unlatch a backyard fence, where he appeared to make himself comfortable while peeping into Galianoās back window.
āI donāt know what his intention is, but we donāt know him and he doesnāt belong here,ā she said.
Local 10 Newsā cameras spotted a pair of detectives from the departmentās special victims unit back on the property Monday night, collecting possible leads to remove the concern and fear now spreading throughout the neighborhood.
āPeople are scared,ā said Galiano. āWho knows whose bedroom heās looking into because so far itās been two women, so it wouldnāt surprise me if heās done this to other people in the neighborhood.ā
