2-year-old rushed to hospital after falling from third floor of Lauderhill apartment building

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – First responders rushed to a Lauderhill apartment building Sunday afternoon after a child was injured in a fall.

It happened along the 1900 block of Northwest 46th Avenue in Lauderhill.

According to authorities, a 2-year-old boy was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center after falling from the third floor of an apartment building.

The child was listed in serious condition, authorities said.

There has been no word on the circumstances that led to the child falling.
