DORAL, Fla. – Authorities responded to reports of an attempted murder-suicide at the Miami International Mall in Doral on Tuesday.

The incident took place sometime Tuesday at 1455 NW 107th Ave., in an area near the food court of the mall that is not accessible to the public.
Authorities said the man stabbed a woman and subsequently shot himself in what appeared to be a domestic incident.
The subject was found deceased at the scene, according to Doral police.
Investigators said the woman was transported in critical condition to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
Doral police also said the situation appeared to be an “isolated incident” and the area has since been cleared by investigators.
A mall employee at the scene could not confirm whether the suspect and victim were employees of the mall.
Police have not disclosed any further details about the victim and suspect involved. The investigation is ongoing.
